Real Indonesia: Now Exploring Lombok and Flores

Real Indonesia on the 2019 'Fam' Trip
Between the 9th and 14th of April, our Media and Public Relations Advisor, Eliana, was lucky enough to be invited on the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism’s annual familiarization trip or ‘fam trip’. She attended with six other representatives from Perth-based tourism businesses.
The 5-day itinerary was jam-packed with activities and excursions. Which gave us the chance to enjoy to some of the most popular and interesting attractions that both islands have to offer. It also gave us the opportunity to connect with local businesses, collectives and organisations. More connections, means we'll be designing more new and authentic experiences. To help Australians, and others, get beyond Bali, and see more of the amazing archipelago we’re so passionate about.
Real Indonesia are excited to extend their destination offerings to Lombok and Flores. The team are hard at work investigating and developing the new opportunities that the fam trip has opened for us.
You can find more photos from Eliana's adventures on the fam trip on our Facebook!
Thank you Wonderful Indonesia!
All of us here at Real Indonesia want to express our appreciation and extend our warmest thanks to the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. As well as the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Perth, and their attending representatives. We're very grateful for the invitation to experience “wonderful Indonesia” and familiarize ourselves with two exciting new destinations; Labuan Bajo, Flores and Lombok.
We’d also like to extend our thanks to the assisting event organisers from PT Eden Gemilang. Who provided us with excellent assistance throughout the trip.
Next Stop: Lombok!
Air Asia will be starting new direct flights between Perth and Lombok this June, and we’re planning on bringing our brand of sustainable, social impact tourism direct to the island too!
Stay tuned to our blog to hear more about the ways that Real Indonesia are planning on growing this year, and beyond!
